Received the sign today. Took over to the church and they love it. You did a great
job.
There is a story behind this sign. The lady that wanted it had tears in her eyes today,
when she saw it. She said, now I can take that one off my bucket list. She paid for the
sign, said she would not have it any other way.
She will be 80 years old this coming March 10th. Her husband was a minister and saw a sign similar to this one, back in 1978. He told her at that time, I want a sign like that put up in our church. He passed away at 55 yrs old, a few months later. She remembered what he said, and has been meaning to find someone to make that sign for her, in remembrance of him. She asked a couple of people who have wood talents to make it, but they never got around to doing it for her.
One week after asking me if I would help her find someone that could do it, I found your website. Now she has her sign to hang up in the same church that her husband pastored.
You can tell by the sparkle in her eyes she is one happy lady. I want to thank you Doug, for your skills, equipment and making a perfect sign for a wonderful person in my life.
